Re: Pacquiao v Khan
I fucking hate Khan. Has moved up to 147 and only fought one legit Welterweight in Luis Collazo and he's an old bum now. Yet thinks it's put him on the level with Floyd and Pac.

Hes chased Floyd with no success and wasted a few of he's best years being inactive or fighting lesser fighters. He could have built he's own legacy in that time and Floyd wouldn't have had much choice but to fight him.

Spot on.

I think a past it pacquiao will still KO the gobby little cunt.

Re: Pacquiao v Khan
Khan will get caught early and that will be that. Paquiao v Garcia would be a better fight but Manny knows Garcia would knock his head off.

Re: Pacquiao v Khan
absolutely loved him watching him when he started out. TV doesn't do justice to his hand speed. Its ridiculous.

Almost as ridiculous as his legs when he gets tagged, but not quite.

I'd rather pay to go and watch Bushey & Smithy have a tear-up myself...

Not with each other obviously.

Re: Pacquiao v Khan
and if you're in any doubt he's a wanker, his own FATHER said this after he said it

"'I don't agree with it to tell you the truth.

'I don't know why he made that comment but I think the attention he gets now at this stage of his career is incredible. I think he is known all round not just in England but round the world.'

Re: Pacquiao v Khan
There's a pretty simple reason I dislike him.

Having been cheered to the rafters whilst representing Great Britain, and selling out arenas for all of his early fights against no-marks - during which he got dumped on his arse by Willie LIMOND - and shortly after he got knocked the fuck out by Breidis PRESCOTT, he came out with this gem:

'I know if, maybe, I was a white English fighter, I would be a superstar in Britain.

'I never get racist remarks but it's always out there which you can't stop"

So, he thought - and no doubt still does - that he should have been a superstar, despite being demolished inside 90 seconds by someone who Kevin MITCHELL comprehensively outboxed for 12 rounds, had never had any racist remarks, but anyone who doesn't support him is a racist.

The bloke's a fucking wanker, and I've enjoyed watching him get the shit kicked out of him ever since.

Never disliked Khan, dunno why people hate him so much.

Actually, yea I can hazard a guess.

I can't see Khan vs Pacman happening myself.

Amir Khan is now vegan.

What a surprise you like him now.

You daft cunt.

Re: Pacquiao v Khan
Khan said (though he does speak a lot of bullshit) shortly after the 7/7 terror attacks that he considers himself British first, Muslim second

Hardly an Andy Murray, Mo Farah, Rory Mcilroy type debate. He was born in England and fights under the Union Jack

Re: Pacquiao v Khan
He was born in Bolton.

That's British and northern enough for me.

No problem if his family are from Pakistan that he celebrates his country of birth AND his heritage.

Owen Hargreaves was born and raised in Canada and later spent 2 years in Germany but we had no problem taking him in as one of our own.

There is no better sight than Khan with silly legs.

Great to see this proud "British" "Northern" fighter get a smack.

is this some sort of joke? even a past pacman knocks out khan

Eerie Descent 12:27 Wed Nov 4
Re: Pacquiao v Khan
He is past it now, so probably won't happen, but 6 years ago, Pacquiao would have knocked Khan spark out, whatever weight.

Khan is boxing better under Hunter, but look who he has faced since Garcia for fuck sake, not a puncher worth a rub of salt between them.

There's a very, very good reason why he hasn't taken a fight against Brook. It would earn him a fortune, he has been asked to name his terms, it's for a World title, and he has avoided it like the plague, because he knows he hasn't got the chin for it.

team boaty 12:19 Wed Nov 4
Re: Pacquiao v Khan
Khan is now a fantastic little boxer under Virgil Hunter who has fine tuned him mentally into a well organised rangey puncher who works well behind a solid jab

Doubt his suss chin will be a problem because Pac never has had amazing punch power at these higher weights (don't tell Hatton that) more so that he relies on an accumulation of shots and accuracy to take opponents out

Still lean towards an ageing Pacquiao points win but would not be the massive shock it would of been a few years back if Khan were to get the better of him

Eggbert Nobacon 11:44 Wed Nov 4
Re: Pacquiao v Khan
a few years ago no contest

but now I think Khan

For someone with a reputation as a big puncher, Manny has not stopped anybody in SIX years and 11 fights

, 11:18 Wed Nov 4
Re: Pacquiao v Khan
Khan v Brook is the fight we want to see.

I doubt it would match Froch putting Groves in his place........twice though.

Eerie Descent 11:06 Wed Nov 4
Re: Pacquiao v Khan
Pacquiao is well past his best, I'd expect Khan to win, but it takes one decent punch to send him bandy, which he has got in his locker. A younger Pac would destroy him.

Khan vs Brook is the fight everyone wants, but Khan is too scared to lose that one. He hasn't fought anyone who can dig since Garcia, it's a shame because I like him, and he has got fantastic hands and is lightening quick, but that chin is made of glass.
